Annoyed by this inquiry, I would sometimes respond with "nothing." My dad, unflagging, would press further until he got a satisfactory response, emphasizing that there was no way I went through the entire day without learning something new.

Now as an adult, I'm invigorated by the same question that used to frustrate me. I've always loved learning, but I appreciate more the value in sharing and preserving ideas.

I believe this personal blog can serve as a platform for that conversation.
